Thanks to the iTero Intraoral Scanner at Upper Eastside Orthodontists, you can have a first row seat. While Dr. Edelman, Dr. Jahn’Shahi, or Dr. Vaysman are performing a diagnostic review of your mouth, you may even be able to see your teeth being actively imaged on the screen. You’ll notice right away that our intraoral scanner is a significant upgrade over the small mirrors and reflected lighting that dentists have been using for many decades. The primary benefit of the scanner is the exceptional resolution that it allows us to take of your teeth and bite.

Dr. Vaysman has years of expertise gauging restorations and assessing treatment plans.; the high-tech iTero Element Intraoral Scanner facilitates this even further. The leading edge iTero Scanner allows imagery of your teeth and gums to spring to life with full clarity, and an individual image of each tooth is taken. The high-resolution camera has the ability to freeze frame whatever it’s looking at, and Dr. Vaysman can print out the results for further study. This ability is especially useful in comparing past histories of the same oral region — which ensures better care for you, the patient, as we discern progress and plan a course of treatment.
